A Walk Through Pier History

Designed to celebrate over a century of stories, A Walk Through Pier History is more than a guided tour—it’s a cohesive visual journey. From signage to brochures to mobile-friendly layouts, every graphic element was crafted to balance historical reverence with contemporary clarity. The design system relies on a strong, consistent typographic hierarchy, a monochrome-meets-coral color palette, and archival imagery paired with modern layout structures to bridge past and present.

GRAPHIC DESIGN | VISUAL STORYTELLING | BRAND SYSTEMS | PUBLIC EXPERIENCE

Inspired by early 20th-century type and coastal nostalgia, the logo and title treatments nod to the Pier’s heritage while remaining clean and legible for modern audiences. Informational signage, digital graphics, and printed materials all reflect a unified design system, making the experience feel seamless across touchpoints—from street-level sandwich boards and standing signs to mobile UI and printed guides. QR codes are subtly integrated into every format, merging analog charm with digital accessibility. Each layout is responsive, with generous white space and bold headers guiding the viewer’s eye—ensuring history is both readable and memorable.
